This page says what information we collect when you use fourmoves.ai or work with Lovgren Consulting Group, what we do with it, and what we don't. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. Effective September 24, 2026.

Who we are

Lovgren Consulting Group, LLC is a Wisconsin company. I'm Eric Lovgren, Managing Partner. fourmoves.ai is our website.

What the website collects

Very little. The site is hosted on Ghost, and we use Ghost's built-in analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. That is aggregate traffic data; it doesn't identify you, and we don't run advertising trackers or sell anything about your visit to anyone.

If you book a call, that happens through Calendly. Calendly asks for your name, email address, and a phone number so I can reach you at the time you choose. Calendly keeps that information under its own privacy notice; we see only what you enter for the booking. If you email or call me instead, we keep what you sent so we can reply and remember the conversation.

We don't share your contact details with anyone else, and we don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one.

Financial account data (for clients)

Part of what we do for clients is help them keep their books. To do that without anyone re-typing bank activity, a client can connect a business bank account to our bookkeeping service through Plaid, a company that links bank accounts to software.

When a client connects an account, here is what happens. The client signs in at their bank, on the bank's own screen; we never see the username or password. Plaid then gives us the account name and the last few digits of the account number, balances, transactions (date, amount, description), and, where available, monthly statements. We use that data for one purpose: keeping the books of the business that authorized the connection, which means categorizing transactions in its accounting system, reconciling the accounts, and producing its financial reports. Nothing else. We don't move money: the bookkeeping service reads bank activity and records it; it cannot initiate a payment or transfer.

That data goes only to the services that do the work: Plaid (the connection), the client's own accounting system (QuickBooks Online, for example), Google Cloud (where our service runs), and Anthropic (whose Claude models process the transactions under our instructions). Each of those companies is bound by its own agreement with us, and none is permitted to use client data for anything but providing the service. We never sell financial data, never use it for advertising, and never share it with anyone the client hasn't approved.

A client can disconnect an account at any time by telling us, or directly through Plaid Portal, which shows every connection Plaid holds for you and lets you remove it. When an engagement ends, we delete the client's bank data in our possession within 90 days, except for the accounting records that already live in the client's own books, which belong to the client. Plaid's handling of your data is described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

Data moves between these services over encrypted connections. Access keys and credentials live in a managed secret store, not in files or email. Every automated change to a client's books is made under a named user account, so the audit trail shows exactly what was done and when.

What we don't do

We don't sell personal information. We don't show ads or let advertisers track you here. We don't direct the site or our services at anyone under 18 and don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email me and I'll take care of it. If you're a client, you can also revoke a bank connection at any time as described above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. For changes that matter to clients, such as a new service provider handling financial data, we tell them directly before the change takes effect.
